Director, Bibliotheek Midden-Brabant

Since 2010 I am working as director of the foundation Bibliotheek Midden-Brabant in the Netherlands. The foundation, with 200 employees and 170 volunteers, has 16 library locations in 6 municipalities in a working area of 350.0000 inhabitants. Our main location is the LocHal is Tilburg. My background is public administration and before I started working in the library sector, I worked for 20 years in business services, especially for government organizations. I am a result-oriented change manager with an innovative vision of the library of the future.

Sinds 2010 ben ik werkzaam als directeur van de Stichting Bibliotheek Midden-Brabant in Nederland. De stichting met 200 medewerkers en 170 vrijwilligers, heeft 16 bibliotheeklocaties in 6 gemeenten in een werkgebied van 350.000 inwoners. Onze hoofdlocatie is de LocHal is Tilburg. Mijn achtergrond is openbaar bestuur en voordat ik in de bibliotheeksector ging werken, heb ik 20 jaar in de zakelijke dienstverlening gewerkt, vooral voor overheidsorganisaties. Ik ben een resultaatgerichte verandermanager met een innovatieve visie op de bibliotheek van de toekomst.
